Wunderbaar

On July 7th, 2022, we had the great honor of opening Wunderbaar, a new concert venue in Pärnu—naturally, with a lively party. Over the years, it has grown into a beloved space where many Estonian artists have performed, and where great music is truly valued and music lovers are genuinely cared for. Definitely a great place to perform—or just to enjoy live music. At the door, you’ll be greeted by a Finnish security guard who speaks Estonian. Rumor has it he worked as a security officer in Russia during the 1990s and was paid in cash. With a duffel bag full of dollars, returning to Finland wasn’t exactly an option—so he came to Estonians’ favorite city and bought an apartment here. And here he stayed. Fun fact: all the bartenders are named Martin, so addressing them should be easy.
