Männi Café

Sunday Evening Cheese Schnitzel at Väntvõll (Riia Road 110b)
This former workers’ eatery was known locally as Väntvõll—which literally means “crankshaft” in Estonian—because of the nearby Soviet-era auto repair workshops. Back then, it was famous for its grilled chicken, served either whole or halved. Interestingly, grilled chicken still remains on the Männi Cafémenu as a historical tribute. It’s the kind of place where you can get a quick and affordable lunch, and it's very popular with locals. For us, it has become a tradition to occasionally enjoy a cheese schnitzel there on Sunday evenings. We recommend ordering it with double cold sauce—you won’t regret it!
